Granddaddy Purple

Introduced by Ken Estes in 2003, this cross between Purple Urkle and Big Bud is commonly referred to as GDP and is well known for its large buds and heavy smoke qualities. While there is significant cerebral euphoria, it’s the sedation and physical effects that are truly noteworthy. The aroma is sweet and Concord grape-like with a prickly, grapefruit quality.

This cultivar is also grown by Revolution.
