Many believe that this strain was a landrace cultivated in Hawaii for generations. While this is no longer the case, as today’s Maui Wowie is a Sativa dominant hybrid, many of the same characteristics were preserved. Fruity in aroma with a slightly pinkish hue, this strain is touted for its mellow, cerebral effects and smooth smoke.
